Foundation and Top-up Degrees

The foundation degrees are designed to provide students with experiences that could further their careers working with children and young people:

  • FdA Early Years Professional
  • FdA Inclusive Education
  • FdA Learning and Education
  • FdSc Mental Health and Wellbeing of Children and Young People
  • BA (Hons) Advancing Practice (four pathways available)

Top-up honours degree 

The one year top-up degree for students who have completed a foundation degree related to education, children's services or mental health.  This top-up degree includes four specific pathways (Early Years Professional, Inclusive Education, Learning and Education, Mental Health and Wellbeing of Children and Young People).
