On the 13th of February, we celebrated National School Governors Awareness Day with a networking event and  recognition awards ceremony dedicated to honouring the invaluable contributions of governors and governance professionals. The event, held at Tooley Street, saw a fantastic turnout, reflecting the community's appreciation for these dedicated individuals.

Donna Muir  (Head of Governor Services), Veronica Kigundu, Shereen Moussa and Maureen Boyle  presented awards which recognised some of our longstanding governors and those who have provided unwavering support to our schools Their commitment and resilience have been instrumental in fostering a positive educational environment.

A highlight of the event was the keynote address delivered by Jackie Sweeting from the National Governance Association (NGA).

The event was a resounding success, celebrating the dedication and hard work of those who ensure our schools are well-governed and thriving. We look forward to continuing this tradition and further acknowledging the efforts of our governance community in the years to come.
