Inter Faith Week will be from Sunday 9 to Sunday 16 November 2025.
Inter Faith Week 2025 is nearly here.
The last time I wrote to you, I shared with you an article highlighting the need to come together against the growing hate we have been feeling and witnessing around the country.
We must lead the way by exemplifying interfaith practice – from grassroots to government – until the communities we build leave no space for hate. Inter Faith Week is a time to do just that. If you have never attended an Interfaith event, or taught using interfaith resources, this is a perfect time to dip your toe. This week, more than any which has come before, is a vital time for us to come together in solidarity, and celebrate the diversity of Britain’s faith and belief communities.

Inter Faith Week will be from Sunday 9 to Sunday 16 November 2025.
We have been working alongside a consortium of organisations over recent months to put together Inter Faith Week in a new and collaborative way. Appropriately, then, this year’s theme is Community: Together we Serve.
For this year’s Inter Faith Week, F&BF is leading the Interfaith week 4 schools initiative which provides curated resources, training, competitions and events to support schools to mark the week. Additionally, we have also been working on a new youth engagement strand of Inter Faith Week with a cohort of young interns working to put together events alongside a separate youth advisory group to shape IFW development, and engagement events.
There are many ways to get involved with Inter Faith Week in your schools, universities, workplaces and communities. There are webinars taking place and a plethora of resources to organise activities be it in schools or in your local communities.
So far, the resources have been downloaded by teachers up and down he UK. With just over two weeks to go, we know the resources will already be reaching over 355,000 students across the country.
If you are planning an event in your community, be sure to register it so it will feature on the national Inter Faith Week website. You can find a list of other local and national events to get involved with on the website too.
