Southwark Youth Parliament elections 2026: launch event

Elections for the next Southwark Youth Parliament will take place in March 2026, and offer young people the chance to step up and represent their areas on important local and national issues.

 

Over the last two years our diligent cohort of elected members have worked with the council, the police, NHS and even our elected MPs to raise the voice of young people. To help prospective candidates prepare we are holding a launch event on Tuesday 28 October at the Damilola Taylor Centre, Peckham, 12 noon to 3.00pm. We have sent a lesson presentation and posters to senior schools and colleges but would ask you to help promote our launch event with your students.
