📄 How to Book and Pay for Your Course (PDF)
The aim of this three-hour session is to highlight the importance of speech, language, and communication (SLC) in the early years. We shall reflect and review interaction and how we approach conversations with children, how with timely, interventions when necessary and building a communication-supportive, language-rich environment, through exciting and engaging storytelling, we can help children to become skilful and competent communicators
“…it may seem an obvious thing to say, but one of the best things we can do with young children is to have interesting and enjoyable conversations with them….” Michael Rosen (We’re Going on a Bear Hunt) and Children’s Laurent 2007-2009
This quote from Michael Rosen, is the cornerstone of ‘The Competent Communicator’ training session
This one quote is the foundation on which we shall build this session. The importance of quality interactions, in an environment that has effective communication at the heart and providing awe and wonder experiences can foster strong communicators of the future
