Aims
Beneath the Behaviours is Southwark's SEND and Inclusion Conference which offers free CPD to all primary schools across the borough.
This conference is in direct response to the feedback and requests from participating schools whilst collaborating on the Southwark Primary Behaviour Strategy. The task force consists of Headteachers, Senior Leaders and SENDcos from a range of mainstream schools as well as LA representatives from the SELA team, Educational Psychologists and therapists.
The content of the day is planned with the intention to upskill your staff team. The day begins and ends with keynote speaker and then individuals can book their own choice of workshops based upon their skills set, interests, knowledge and experience, their roles and responsibilities. Sessions are there to educate, inspire, prompt reflection as well as to provide resources, strategies and techniques when faced with behaviours that challenge.
“It takes a village to raise a child”
