The purpose of the induction is:

to strengthen the role of the School Business Manager

to encourage partnership working between schools

to promote the sharing of good practice
Summary
About the Induction
The Schools HR team, in partnership with the wider Education department and teams in the Council, are running a NEW SBM Induction for:
- New SBMs who have joined in the last two years
- Existing SBMs who would like a refresher on different areas of their work.
- School office staff looking to expand their knowledge and skills in SBM-related areas
This is the last session over the academic year 2026/2027 and the session is free to attend.
The session will be held in person at Tooley Street between 1pm-4pm.
