Art Subject Leaders Meeting - Term 1 2026-2027

Aims

Join us for the first meeting of the year! This session is a chance to reconnect, meet new members and build our community of art leaders across Southwark. Together we’ll shape the aims of the network for the year ahead, so that our sessions reflect what you need most in your role.

We’ll also share ideas and resources for Black History Month, including a hands-on practical activity you can take straight back to your classroom. We’ll think about how to build a diverse art curriculum that runs all year round, not just in October. Please bring along any projects, examples of children’s work or lesson ideas you’d like to share, whether it’s a full project or just a small idea. It will be a great opportunity to learn from one another and come away with plenty of inspiration for your own classroom and curriculum.
