Aims
Neurodivergent young people often experience masking, shutdowns, and meltdowns. These are responses to stress that are frequently misunderstood by the adults around them. Because these experiences can look very different in different environments, they often lead to confusion or disagreements between parents and professionals.
This webinar will help school staff to identify these invisible stressors and understand that they are bodily responses, not deliberate choices. By creating a shared understanding, we can work together to prevent burnout and provide students with the neuroaffirming support they need to thrive in both home and school environments.
Summary
This webinar will be delivered live online via Microsoft Teams on 10th June by CAMHS.
