Aims
DSLs and DDSLs should undergo training to provide them with the knowledge and skills required to carry out the role. This training should be updated at least every two years. In Southwark, DSLs and DDSLs normally attend the two-day induction training and they attend the one-day refresher training two years after their induction.
This LSCP Level 4 one-day refresher training aims to provide the DSLs and DDSLs the opportunity to reflect on their practice since their induction training and to refresh and update their knowledge and skills in view of the changes in legislation as well as in national and local policies, procedures and practices since their last training.
