Aims

Southwark SEND invites all secondary SENCOs to attend our ongoing Secondary SENCO Forum whole-day training sessions. These events are designed to support inclusive practice and strengthen SEND leadership across our secondary schools.

Led by the Inclusion and SEND Consultant Team in collaboration with the Inclusion and Monitoring Team, each session includes:

  • Practical modelling and strategy workshops tailored to secondary settings
  • Up-to-date policy guidance and local developments
  • Resources and tools to implement in your school
  • Opportunities to share good practice and learn from peers
  • Time to network with fellow SENCOs across the borough

These sessions are a key part of our commitment to building a strong, collaborative SEND community in Southwark’s secondary schools.
