The course explores:

  • How PSHE & Wellbeing Education makes links to safeguarding, personal development and SMSC
  • Your school’s current PSHE & Wellbeing provision and identify any gaps and further training needs
  • How to feel confident using the new Southwark PSHE and Wellbeing Framework as a starting point for planning
  • The importance of building assessment and quality assurance in to your schools PSHE & Wellbeing provision
  • The current national guidance and statutory requirements
  • Up to date, high quality, teacher-friendly resources for PSHE & Wellbeing
  • The skills needed to plan and deliver an outstanding PSHE & Wellbeing lesson, including time to reflect on individual concerns

Summary
