Safeguarding in Schools Team

Southwark's Safeguarding in Schools Team are available to offer support, guidance and advice to all schools and education settings across Southwark.

 

Click here to find out more about the training we offer. We also send a weekly safeguarding bulletin with local and national updates, and host a bi-annual 'Schools Safeguarding Forum'.

    For advice and guidance around allegations against staff in school, or concerns where an individual working with children: 
    - has or might have caused harm to a child
    - might have committed a criminal act against a child
    - has shown behaviour that suggests they're a potential risk to children
    - has shown they're unsuitable to work with children
