Southwark secondary SENCO forum
An opportunity for secondary SENCOs to stay in touch with colleagues and developments in Southwark, feedback to Southwark Council, solve problems and share good practice.
These whole-day training sessions are designed to support inclusive practice and strengthen SEND leadership across our secondary schools.
Led by the Inclusion and SEND Consultant Team in collaboration with the Inclusion and Monitoring Team, each session includes:
- practical modelling and strategy workshops tailored to secondary settings
- up-to-date policy guidance and local developments
- resources and tools to implement in your school
- ppportunities to share good practice and learn from peers
- time to network with fellow SENCOs across the borough.
These sessions are a key part of our commitment to building a strong, collaborative SEND community in Southwark’s secondary schools.

- Friday 26 June 2026

Southwark primary SENCO's training day
Southwark SEND is pleased to offer a series of whole-day training sessions for primary SENCOs and inclusion leads throughout the year, designed to support and strengthen inclusive practice across our schools. Led by the Inclusion and SEND Consultant Team alongside the Inclusion and Monitoring Team, these sessions offer:
- Practical modelling workshops to support real-world application
- Ready-to-use resources and fresh ideas to take back to your school
- Policy updates to keep you informed and compliant
- Opportunities to share good practice and learn from peers
- Networking with fellow SENCOs from across the borough.
Whether you're new to the role or an experienced SENCO, this is a valuable chance to connect, learn, and grow together.
All Inclusion and SEND consultant training sessions are free to attend for all maintained schools and academies in Southwark.
