Aims

Join us for an introductory webinar exploring Southwark's new Ordinarily Available Provision (OAP) Guidance. This session is designed to support school leaders, SENCOs, teachers, and wider education professionals in understanding how the guidance can be used to strengthen inclusive practice and meet the needs of children and young people with SEND within mainstream settings.

During the webinar, we will provide an overview of the purpose and key principles of the OAP Guidance, explore what high-quality, ordinarily available inclusive provision looks like in practice, and consider how schools can use the guidance to review and develop their current provision. There will also be opportunities to reflect on implementation and ask questions.

  • Understand the purpose and structure of Southwark's new OAP Guidance.
  • Explore expectations for inclusive practice and ordinarily available provision.
  • Consider how the guidance can support school self-evaluation and development.
  • Identify practical next steps for implementation within your setting.
