Early Years Inclusion Fund (EYIF)

One

You have observed and assessed the child to have an identified SEND need.

You have evidence that best practice has been applied and existing resources used, but concerns persist. 

 
 

Two

An application for Early Years Inclusion Funding (EYIF) is discussed with the parents and verbal parental consent is gained to begin an application via the EYIF Provider Portal 

 
 

Three

The application form is completed with supporting information and sent to the parent for final written consent via Docusign. Parental consent is recieved and the application is submitted. 

 
 

Four

The EYIF application is received by the early years inclusion team and allocated to the next available panel 

 
 

Five

The EYIF panel meeting is held and a decision on funding made

 

Six

The application for funding is not approved.

The panel decision is recorded on the EYIF Provider Portal and the early years setting is notified of the decision and why and if further action is needed. 

 

Six

The application for funding is approved. The panel decision is recorded in the EYIF Provider Portal 

 

   

Seven

Funding is allocated to the provider.
