The course is specifically designed for anyone working with children and infants. It is suited to child minders, nursery and out of school services (OOSS) practitioners and covers a wide range of scenarios ensuring that participants can deal with a first aid emergency situation quickly and confidently. It also includes all of the relevant accident reporting regulations, when dealing with young children.

Summary

This ‘blended’ course is delivered in two parts. The first part is online learning which can be accessed in your own time, from your home or work place. The second part is delivered face to face, in a venue with other learners so that you can be assessed in your practical skills. You must complete the 6 hours online learning BEFORE you can attend the practical assessment on the 10th May 2025
