Aims

Action planning is a practical session designed to support maths subject leaders to review current provision, identify priorities, and plan clear next steps for the year ahead. Participants will reflect on strengths and areas for development, share ideas with colleagues, and develop an action plan to help drive improvement in maths leadership, teaching, and learning across their school.

Objectives:

  • Review current strengths and priorities in maths across the school.

  • Identify key actions to support improvement in maths teaching and leadership.

  • Develop a clear, prioritised action plan for the autumn term and beyond.

  • Consider how to monitor the impact of planned actions.

  • Share ideas and approaches with other maths subject leaders.
