This session is aimed at school leaders and other staff who are involved in recruitment and employment contracts.

Aims of the session

  • What different types of contract there are, and when to use them
  • What the terms in the contract mean in practice
  • How to work out continuous service and annual leave entitlement
  • What do when varying contracts of employment
  • What to issue when engaging casual workers
