New Headteachers Induction - Autumn Term (2) 23/24

Aims

The sessions are designed to cover topics and areas of work that will provide most support to you in your first year in Southwark as a Headteacher, acting HT or Head of School.

This session will focus on Health and Safety, Family Early Help and Safeguarding

• Key Responsibilites for schools
• Managing effective safeguarding
• Family Ealy Help 

Summary

All induction sessions also give you the opportunity to make connections with other colleagues new to the role, which previous new headteachers have found really valuable and so much so, that they have continued to meet and support one another long after the induction programme has finished. We sincerely hope that you will prioritise your own support and development and join us each half term, sessions are all on Thursdays and run from 1.30pm to 4:00pm.
