Summary
Visual aids are a wonderful tool for supporting and enhancing children’s communication. They can provide children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) with an alternative method of communication, so it is vital that we offer tools such as these so that children are given opportunities to interact with others, and to feel included in activities and experiences. Visual aids are beneficial to helping to provide structure for children, as well as improving their understanding, of the daily routine
This session uses video clips, group activities, written materials, and interactive discussions to support learning.
