In this session, the aim is to offer practical advice on how to prepare your setting for MLL/EAL children and adding those extra little touches than can mean so much for anyone who is experiencing an unfamiliar environment. Join this training to learn more about how we can support children’s early speech, language, and communication via a responsive environment

This session uses video clips, group activities, written materials, and interactive discussions to support learning

Summary

When we are working with MLL (Multi Language Learners) and EAL (English as additional language) children and families in the early years it’s important that all practitioners understand the different stages in which children with additional languages learn to speak. This half day session, will provide some simple strategies to help support MLL/EAL children to settle into your provision
