Managing Conflict in the Workplace Training
Who is this session appropriate for?
Our training courses are available to anyone who manages and leads others, such as managers, senior leaders, governors, etc.
Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will have:
- An understanding of what is conflict in the workplace and its causes
- Understood the importance of having positive and constructive relationships in the workplace
- An awareness of factors that may impact on others and contribute to their behaviours
- Considered the importance of communication and gaining commitment in delivering positive outcomes for the benefit of the children
- Identified and be able to deal with resistance
- Knowledge of what is acceptable behaviour versus what is not
- An understanding of the difference between managing matters informally and when to move to the formal stages and the appropriate HR policies and procedures to follow
- An awareness of diversity issues in dealing with others
