Southwark LA SEND Guidance for schools 2025

This guidance gives a detailed breakdown of the Southwark SEND standards and aims to support schools and settings in further embedding the SEND code of practice: 0 – 25 years effectively. The vision and principles are underpinned by the 2022-2025 Southwark Council Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Strategy for children and young people 0 – 25 and so improve outcomes for the children and young people of Southwark. 

The Southwark SEND audit tool for Primary and Secondary mainstream settings can be used by schools to review how well a setting is meeting the standards, for support using the audit tool please contact your consultant.
