Early Years Inclusion Fund (EYIF)

Our vision

Southwark's vision is that every child with SEND is identified early, supported effectively, and given the opportunity to thrive within their local early years community. Through the EYIF we are committed to ensuring that young children with emerging and complex needs can access high-quality, inclusive early education and childcare, regardless of their level of need. Access to EYIF enables providers to deliver targeted interventions, make reasonable adjustments, strengthen staff expertise, and create nurturing environments where children can develop communication, independence, social relationships, and readiness for school. By working in partnership with families, early years providers, family hubs, health professionals, and specialist services, Southwark aims to reduce inequalities, improve outcomes, and ensure that every child receives the right support at the right time, helping them to achieve their fullest potential.
