Aims
The aim of the session is to enable teachers to assess accurately and consistently in writing for Y6 and is targeted at Year 6 teachers. During the session teachers will moderate collections of children’s work as a group and have the opportunity to consider gaps in learning, share practise and discuss any concerns with consultants and/or LA moderators. Teachers will need to have writing books (and cross curricular writing if possible) available for least two children (one middle attainer and one higher attainer).
