Primary RE Network Meeting Autumn Term 2026-2027

Aims

To support and enhance the quality of Religious Education across primary schools by providing RE subject leaders and teachers with current guidance, professional development, practical resources, and opportunities for collaboration and networking.

Objectives

• Provide curriculum updates and ensure participants remain informed about national developments, statutory requirements, and current priorities in Religious Education.
• Develop subject knowledge and confidence through high-quality training and professional learning opportunities.
• Promote effective teaching and learning by sharing evidence-informed approaches, effective classroom practice, and innovative strategies for delivering RE.
• Support curriculum planning and development to ensure RE provision is ambitious, inclusive, coherent, and engaging for all pupils.
