Aims

This half day session aims to provide ALL practitioners, with some thoughtful and reflective ideas for implementing Loose Parts Play. To consider and discuss how this type of play can develop children’s creativity and imagination, independence and problems solving skills and so much more!

Summary

Loose parts play is all about the power of open-ended resources, ‘stuff’ that leaves the choices up to the children. Loose parts play is about encouraging children to be creative, imaginative and to explore the world around them. This session will explore some of the ways and approaches that practitioners and educators can provide, to allow and ensure this opportunity to take place
