Aims

This half day session will focus on how sensory play is the foundation to all learning and how by using objects and sensory objects can help with understanding words and talking

This session aims to demonstrate the importance of objects and sensory object play can help children explore the language associated with the context of the time and practice using new words

 

Summary

We shall focus on objects and sensory object play and build on our existing knowledge on the importance of learning through our senses and how we can support children’s understanding of words and their meaning

 

This course uses video clips, group activities, written materials and interactive discussions to support learning

Some fabulous resources for you to keep will also be shared with those who attend the training
