Aims
This webinar will support schools with the application of Southwark recommended policies and national requirements for teachers’ appraisal.
Who is this session appropriate for?
This training course is available to anyone who is responsible for or will be involved in the different stages of performance management for teachers, e.g. managers, senior leaders, governors, etc.
Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will have:
- Appreciated the importance of performance management
- Established a clear understanding of what performance management is
- Understood how to manage under-performance and the link to capability
- Understood monitoring and equalities considerations
Venue
This training is an online session. You will be provided with the Microsoft Teams link to join the meeting prior to the start of the training.
Summary
Colleagues will leave the work shop understanding how to use discretion and manage performance for impact. Colleagues will also leave with an understanding of how the appraisal process links with that for capability.
