Summary
High-quality adult-child interactions are fundamental to children's language, communication, and learning. This session will explore how practitioners can use everyday interactions to support vocabulary development, thinking skills and sustained conversations, including through the Education Endowment Foundation's ShREC approach (Share Attention, Respond, Expand and Conversation). Participants will reflect on their own practice and gain practical strategies to enhance communication through play and child-led experiences.
