Aims

Join us for a practical network meeting exploring how effective assessment and moderation can strengthen the teaching and learning of English. The session will provide an opportunity to review assessment approaches, moderate pupils’ work, develop consistency in teacher judgements and share effective practice with colleagues.

Participants will consider how assessment information can identify gaps in learning, inform curriculum planning and support improved outcomes in reading and writing. Please bring examples of pupils’ work or assessment materials for discussion.
