This is a Safer Recruitment Consortium accredited course, which will be held in person at Tooley Street. Participants will be required to sit a short test at the end of the course.

Safer recruitment training is vital for anyone involved in the recruitment process in order to keep children in education safe, in line with safeguarding procedures. It remains a legal requirement for schools to ensure that staff and governors involved in the recruitment processes have been appropriately trained in the principles of safer recruitment.

The course provides information on the safer school culture, and advice and guidance on how to strengthen safeguards against employing unsuitable people in schools. The training will help schools demonstrate that they have effective recruitment and selection processes in place that ensure pupils are both well taught and protected.

Please note that this course incurs an additional fee which will be charged to your school directly by the provider:

Schools buying into the core HR service:              £110 Virtual (two ½ days),        £140 In person (1 day)
