This session builds on introduction to safeguarding and covers the following: This session explores the strategic role of governors in promoting a strong safeguarding culture. It covers how to support and challenge the Designated Safeguarding Lead, addresses harmful sexual behaviours and online safety, and highlights the importance of supporting Looked after children.

Target audience: appropriate for all governors who have completed the introductory (Basic) training
