Successful board meetings - asking the right questions

This training is intended to raise the confidence and participation of governors in meetings and to lead to more fruitful discussions.

This session covers:

  • Ground rules to contribute to success
  • Drawing up the agenda
  • Asking the right questions in the right way
  • Using follow up questions to gain greater clarity/ a more detailed response

Participants will have the opportunity to critique anonymised minutes before reviewing minutes of their own schools’ meetings.
